Hi tumblrs,how are you?

It’s the first time i do something like this,so excuse me if i’m not funny or interesting enough

I’ve been recently told of this webcomic called Homestuck,and that it’s basically very awesome,so I wanted to give it a try. I also know that the creator of homestuck  made other stories so I will liveblog those too,from the first to the last page of mspaintadventures.com

Breaking from jail

Ok i have already entered the website,my friend said that the first one was called jailbreak so here we go

Jailbreak time! And…the hell!??

What is this?!?? Are you telling me that the comic that everyone goes crazy for,looks like this? The stick figure hasn’t even got arms for god’s sake!    Well…I supose that it could give some kind of charm to the story,so i really don’t mind it ,I always prefer a good story to good drawings anyway, so it’s all good

Let’s see what we have here,a guy without arms and a face suspiciously similar to my logo (which i got from this website anyways so go figure), a key (to escape from where we’re being kept perhaps) and a pumpkin(what is a pumpkin doing here?)

• You wake up locked in a deserted jail cell, completely alone. There is nothing at all in your cell, useful or otherwise.

How is a key not useful??You could use it to break outta here you dumbass.Maybe it doesn’t open this door? Then why would we have it?
 And what is up with that pumpkin anyways.

Maybe i should just accept that is just a bunch of shenanigans and move on.

Yes that sounds like a good idea.

Also, is this written like a point and click game? like monkey island? I love those,this should be good

• Attempt to pry open window

Why would you try that,if it could be done you would have escaped already.

Also,I don’t think,mr. unnamed protagonist,that you have the strength needed to move the bars out of their place at all.

• There are no objects around with which to “pry open window”.

Yeah,that’s what i thought.The key would be totally useless,and we don’t want the bars covered with gross pumpkin juices.

There seems to be a strange dinamic between our character,the narrator(i think it’s a separate entity)and the commands,so that’s interesting.

• Graft pumpkin to yourself so that you have one hideous arm

What is wrong with these commands,how can you make an arm out of a pumpkin,speaking of pumpkins…

• What pumpkin?

WHAT

Where in the fuck has that pumpkin gone to!!?? Has it ceased to exisit? Was there never any pumpkin in the first place?Were we all fools?Was that pumpkin teleported to the hand of that robot in that sonic the hedgehog cartoon???(been watching NC shut up)

Is this a normal thing in this universe??? Do things just spontaneously dissapear and everyone treats it as if it tuesday

Or is this just the comic screwing with me,is the author trolling me?Is he just “ha think you understand what’s happening,think again”?

And the narrator thinks the pumpkin was as nonexisting as our arms.great

I’m beggining to suspect that this first story is just nonsense,but funny nonsense at that,so i can take it.I also really like shenanigans like this.I enjoy this meta-humor a lot

Wow,i’m not ever three pages in, and it’s already messing with me.

I’ve heard that this was done in paint though?So that explains the quality.

Well i’m tired of writing so let’s leave it there for today

No,don’t you worry,i’m enjoying it so far! If you feel that i’m too critical,it’s because i’m that way with everything i watch,it’s something i do.

Also,i like to comment on pretty much everything,and usually when i watch or play something i have never seen before,i like to inmerse myself on that story,to know the lore and mythos,to feel like i’m in an alternate world,so i usually go very slowly,sorry

I would appreciate that when i’m far ahead,when the fanbase is big enough,all of you sent me fanart,i love getting into the fanbase,but i’m afraid of searching myself because spoilers

I will post something today ,but after that there’s going to be a hiatus of about a week because i’m going on a school trip,but after that i will be uploading as fast as i can

Update

I have finished all my exam and i’m officially free from school. Yaaay!

From today on, I will be starting homestuck and posting roughly once per day

(the reason i’m doing homestuck first it’s because i heard it was going to end soon and i want to try and catch up)

(when i make the necessary progress, i will return to problem sleuth )

With that said, expect more soon!

Homestuck: start

Okay, here we go. I’m so excited for this!

I thought jailbreak and bard quest were pretty good and i liked what i had read of problem sleuth so i have high hopes for this!

Well, nice to see you, new protagonist!

I have to say, i really like the new artstyle, it looks closer to pixelart, to what you’d expect out of a game instead of a webcomic made with mspaint (was this still made of mspaint?, i forgot)

Also, holy shit! colour! hadn’t seen in you in these comics before. It really makes a nice contrast with the rest of the room, colourless as it is.

So, this kid looks kinda dorky with those buckteeth there, and those squarish glasses (that aren’t connected in the middle? it just looks like they are floating on his face).That hair is messed up, it looks like he cut it himself with scissors.

That poster looks very interesting, it says sburb, (which i assume is a game with it saying beta version and all) and it has a logo which seem like a house built with three large squares and one that is divided into two little ones… hmm…  The colour and themes remind me of The sims and it looks like  there are pieces stacked on top of each other soo… sim city, maybe?

He has a drawing of a green monster that looks kinda like a slimer but much more cute.

A young man stands in his bedroom. It just so happens that today, the 13th of April, is this young man’s birthday. Though it was thirteen years ago he was given life, it is only today he will be given a name! 

What will the name of this young man be?

It’s his birthday! His 13th birthday to be exact, so that explains the cake. He gets to have that cake all for himself? Lucky guy. When we celebrate something in our house that cake would get shared to near oblivion.

Also, he doesn’t have a name, what? He’s thirteen and only now do his parents give him a name. I’m asuming that it’s just some meta thing because if not it seems like he suffers from heavy neglect!

Anyways, looks like we are going to find his name… in a few hours, i gotta do something else now Bye!

Zoosmell Pooplord huh? It looks like the person typing the names in has the mentality of a pissed-off 11 year old on the internet. All hail pooplord, the glourrious name of our protagonist!

Or so it would seem, but a snarky comeback later we are forced to enter a name again…

Examine room.

Wow he has quite an interesting room to say the least. A-Are there two cakes resting there?  How many cakes do you eat, man!

I really like this kind of isometric perspective, it allows to get a nice view of the surrunding while also feeling more and more like a game (and a GBA one at that)

John, what are you doing with those nails on the floor, you’re gonna hurt yourself !

Hah, he has ghost bedsheets, that’s cute ! And it looks like a sort of gaming magazine on the table… i think it spells out game bro but i’m not sure…It has the sburb logo though! It’s also on the calendar with what looks like one of those drawing toys… how were they called? spiroscopes? spirographs? something like that…

Oh god, those posters… ghostbusters 2 ? really?? I hope it’s ironic…. Fun fact: I  saw Con Air a month or so ago, it was kinda glorious actually.
